Kelly Attwells is the Executive Chef at Clara’s at Claramount Inn and Spa. He returned to Prince Edward County several years ago after spending over a decade touring, eating and cooking throughout Asia and northern and western Canada. Kelly was the Executive Chef at the exclusive Island Lake Lodge in Fergie, B.C. and was a major contributor to the Island Lake Lodge Cookbook. He has trained under a Japanese sushi chef and was the Sous Chef at the Yamagoya Sushi Bar in British Columbia. Kelly is also a former Director of the Waring House Cookery School.
Well travelled Chef Kelly Attwells, has cooked his way across Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, specializing in everything from classic cooking, fish, seafood, sushi, and Japanese fusion. More recently, Chef Kelly was head chef at the exclusive Island Lake Lodge, in Fernie, British Columbia where, as is the case at Clara’s, chefs are known for fostering relationships with regional farmers and suppliers to create superb dishes using the freshest local ingredients available. Claramount is fortunate that Chef Kelly has decided to return to his Prince Edward County roots to join the culinary team at Clara’s.
In summertime, dinner guests are welcome to enjoy their meals on the inn’s wrap-around veranda, or in the air-conditioned comfort of the charming dining room. Clara’s has a discriminating wine list, featuring wines from Prince Edward County, Ontario VQA, and international wines, all specially selected to complement menu items and to enhance your dining experience.

Hours are subject to change seasonally so please

reservations. During the off-season, a delicious table
